The original action in assumpsit, seeking to recover damages for breach of an alleged contract between plaintiffs, Edgar C. Brownell and the Belknap Petroleum Corporation, hereinafter called Belknap, and defendant, was brought in the New Hampshire Superior Court but was removed by the defendant to the United States District Court for the District of New Hampshire.
